Interview with Pablo de la Vega, Co-Director of Corpay España

“Circumstances are always changing and, as financial providers, we must evolve just as the industry and other companies are doing.”

Xtra: Talk to us about Corpay’s role in the industry.

Pablo: Corpay is the leading non-banking FX provider. We work with companies that have foreign exchange exposure, providing international payment services and risk management solutions.

We’re specialised in hedging strategies, which is particularly important for clients working in international markets. For that reason, the solar industry is one of our key sectors.

Xtra: What current challenges are most important to Corpay, and how are you tackling them?

Pablo: My presentation at the show covers this topic, focusing on innovation in the financial industry.

(In the talk) I include a mantra important to me; that I believe it’s crucial to keep moving forward, continue innovating, and develop new hedging products that better meet our clients’ needs.

Circumstances are always changing and, as financial providers, we must evolve just as the industry and other companies are doing.

Xtra: Can you tell us more about your presentation at the show?

Pablo: After covering innovation in the financial industry, I also discuss how Corpay is driving change by offering better solutions for clients through increased investment in innovation and technology development.

Additionally, I cover a case study involving a client that Corpay worked with. This example addresses a potential challenge that many attendees at this event could face in the future, along with the solution we provided.

Xtra: What are the benefits of attending Solar & Storage Live España?

Pablo: It’s always great to reconnect with old friends – but it’s equally important to meet new ones. That’s why we’re here: to connect with new people, hear about their challenges, and find the best solutions for them.
