Through its subsidiary SunMind, VINCI Concessions has agreed to acquire 100% of Helios, a Swedish company specialising in developing solar farms and energy storage batteries.

Helios operates primarily in northern Europe, focusing on Sweden and the Baltic countries, and oversees projects until they are ready for construction.

Currently, 40% of Helios is owned by Magnora ASA, a Norwegian investment fund, with the remaining shares held by the company’s management team and several minority investors.

The acquisition price for the entire capital of Helios is €73 million, along with a share of Helios’s revenues over the next five years.

The transaction is expected to be completed in June, pending regulatory approvals.

This acquisition will enhance SunMind’s expertise in renewable solar energy. In Sweden, SunMind is developing a 100 MWp photovoltaic project at Skavsta airport, formerly managed by VINCI Airports. SunMind also operates in France, Portugal, and the UK.
