At Solar & Storage Live Queensland 2025, Anker SOLIX and Blue Sun Group announced a partnership to expand access to energy storage solutions.
Under the agreement, Blue Sun will promote the SOLIX X1 system across Australia.
High electricity costs and grid instability have increased interest in home energy storage, but adoption remains low.
In 2023, the average Sydney household paid A$2,500 annually for electricity, yet only 10% of homes use storage due to high costs, long installation times, and limited smart features.
The SOLIX X1 system is designed to simplify adoption. Its AC coupling module allows existing solar users to add storage without major modifications, reducing costs and installation time.
The modular design enables households to scale capacity from 5kWh to 180kWh based on their needs.
Built for harsh conditions, the SOLIX X1 withstands temperatures from -20°C to 55°C and resists corrosion, making it suitable for coastal and remote areas.
Users can manage energy in real-time via an app, schedule EV charging, and optimise consumption.
