Press Release
GoodWe have officially launched the next generation of their ESA Series Residential All-in-One Solution, bringing expanded power options, larger battery capacity, and smarter control to meet diverse household demands.
The single-phase home storage solution is available with a hybrid inverter between 3 and 10 kW and stacked battery modules for 5 to 48 kWh storage capacity, integrating into one compact unit.
Combining rapid charge & discharge, robust safety features, and a user-friendly design, it is tailored to deliver a quieter, easier, and more flexible energy experience for families.
More options, more flexibility
The ESA All-in-One offers a wide range of possibilities to combine inverters and batteries for different household needs. Available in six power ratings of 3 – 3.6 – 5 – 6 – 8 and 10 kW, the inverter sitting on top can be freely combined with up to six battery modules with a storage capacity of 5 or 8 kWh. The storage solution can be upgraded at any time, adding new batteries to the existing setup.
This way, the system grows alongside the end users’ evolving energy needs. Designed for long-term use, the ESA comes with a conditional 10-year solution warranty, covering both the inverter and battery modules.
Installation is equally convenient with one-click upgrade and configuration; the ESA Series can be set up in as little as 10 minutes, significantly lowering the time and effort needed by the installer.
With an IP66 rating, the system can be installed inside or outside of the home and functions at temperatures as low as -18°C thanks to optional heating elements. No matter where it is installed, the design combines a modern look suitable for every home with fanless architecture, resulting in quiet operation below 35 decibels.
Both floor and wall mounting (with limited storage capacity due to the weight) are possible.

Smarter power for lower cost
The residential ESA is designed to help households lower electricity costs by increasing efficiency and limiting upfront spending. By supporting a maximum MPPT current of 20A on the PV side, larger capacity modules can be used with the system, and the 200% PV oversizing allows for more generation during off-peak hours and cloudy days.
The low startup voltage of 50V enables a longer operational time, further increasing the effective time of use. The inverter unit also allows for full usage when demand and solar yield peak, providing 100% supply to power the loads and charging the battery at full rate at the same time.
The load control and monitoring enable the inverter, together with a GMK110 or GM330 smart meter, to dynamically turn on or modulate flexible electric loads, like heat pumps or water heaters, thus improving the self-consumption ratio.
The battery modules consist of high-quality lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells and have a 1C charge/discharge rate for faster energy cycles. In practice, this means the system can achieve the same power output with fewer batteries compared to offers with a lower C-rate. This makes it suitable for high instantaneous power scenarios such as load peak shaving and frequency regulation.
Other operation modes include optimised self-use, backup operation, optimised time of use, smart charging and off-grid mode. The off-grid mode is ideal for remote areas and locations without grid access, allowing an independent power supply with solar. Strong scalability of up to 6 inverters and 288 kWh storage makes the solution suitable for even larger locations.
The integrated backup function switches on in less than 4 milliseconds in the event of a power outage. This is fast enough for appliances like computers, lights, or Wi-Fi routers to continue operating without interruption. The backup is built in the system and doesn’t require any additional equipment.
Safety and Security
Safety and Security are at the heart of all GoodWe products, and the ESA Residential Series provides a high level of safety standards. With six-layer safety protection from cell level to system level and emergency protection including aerosol-based fire extinguishing, the system covers risks such as overheating, overcurrent, and short circuits.
Adding another layer of protection, the ESA Series is equipped with AI-driven AFCI 3.0 technology, which intelligently detects and prevents arc faults. This greatly reduces the risk of electrical fires, giving homeowners peace of mind that their families and properties are well protected.
The ESA All-in-One solution also comes with the new Wi-Fi/LAN Kit 2.0 in the box, offering cybersecurity features according to the “EN 18031:2024” standard, having obtained CE-RED certification.
The certification includes key features like password security, secure authentication during commissioning, signed and validated firmware updates, as well as personal data protection.

DMEGC Solar is the first in the PV industry to adopt a new approach to apply CJ (Cemented Joint) technology to module design.
This technology uses Butyl Sealant as the encapsulant material between the cells and the frame, significantly enhancing module power and reliability.
According to the certificate issued by TÜV SÜD, the G12RT-B66 module achieves a maximum power of an impressive 655W. In the October TaiyangNews Top Modules List, this module ranked fifth with a mass production power of 635W, only slightly lower than the more expensive BC and HJT modules.
In terms of project BOS cost and LCOE, it currently might be the best PV module option for project developers and operators. DMEGC Solar expects to mass-produce and ship this module at 650W in Q1 2026, which will further strengthen its advantages in system power generation, building upon its high reliability.

It is worth noting that Cemented Joint technology is compatible with currently popular technologies like BC, multi-cutting, and full-screen. DMEGC’s Product and R&D teams revealed that they are researching multiple cell and module technologies and will apply one or two of them in the near future.
This opens up more possibilities for even higher power and brings further anticipation to the market.
In addition to passing this TÜV SÜD certification, the CJ modules also passed extended tests such as DH2000 in the internal PV laboratory, with results superior to previous conventional modules, further verifying the technology’s reliability.
DMEGC Solar is one of the very few module manufacturers simultaneously rated as Tier 1 by BNEF, S&P, and SMM. Its Infinity series modules are renowned for their diverse product portfolio, high efficiency, reliability, aesthetic appeal, and high-level low-carbon and ESG-related certifications.

Chloris, the AI‑native platform for utility‑scale renewables project developers, will launch its “grid connection” product (Grid Connector) at Solar & Storage Live Italia in Verona on 8‑9 October.
About Chloris
Utility‑scale renewable projects are worth millions of dollars, yet development processes are often fragmented, manual and subjective, with only outdated tools in support of developers.
Furthermore, the common approach is to treat each phase (land acquisition, permitting, grid connection, techno‑economic analysis and PPAs to name a few) in isolation, leading to missed opportunities and sub‑optimal outcomes.
Chloris is building an AI‑first platform that unifies every key step in the utility-scale renewables development journey. Within a single collaborative workspace, developers can test numerous project variants via specialised tools, integrations with other products, and context‑aware agents, allowing them to find the best projects to develop – at scale.
Tackling the grid‑connection bottleneck
In Europe, grid access has become the primary barrier to deploying large‑scale solar and storage projects. Internal research reveals that over 80 % of utility‑scale solar & BESS projects fail because they cannot secure a feasible connection. For some developers, the failure rate reaches 98 %.
Italy illustrates the scale of the challenge: Terna (Italian TSO) reports more than 350 GW of pending connection requests, compared with a national target of only 65 GW of new renewable capacity by 2030 [1].
However, most of these projects will never see the light, being the result of speculative tactics enabled by the current legislation, and are now clogging the connection queue with virtual congestion that will never concretize.
To solve this problem, the Italian authorities are now reforming how grid rights are allocated. Under the new DL Energia decree [2], expected to enter into force soon, Terna is expected to get rid of 60% of the connection queue [3] and get a fresh start through the open‑season mechanism for allocating new grid capacity [4].
Introducing Grid Connector
To help developers navigate this upheaval, Chloris is launching Grid Connector, the first specialised tool within its platform. Grid Connector aggregates and enriches grid‑connection data from open‑source and official sources and overlays proprietary insights, giving solar and BESS developers a comprehensive view of the network. Key features include:
- Comprehensive network mapping: Users will have access to the whole Italian energy infrastructure – cleaned, normalised and enriched – like substations, power lines, power / storage plants and more in operation, under construction and in development;
- Congestion analysis: The tool estimates virtual (and soon real) congestion at the substation level, considering connected, contracted and pending capacity, helping developers to quickly identify nodes with available capacity or potential bottlenecks;
- Cost and timeframe forecasting: Grid Connector forecasts connection costs and timelines based on plant type, configuration and location, helping developers to choose the optimal locations and configurations for their projects.
- Parallel scenario testing: Built‑in AI agents allow users to run multiple connection scenarios concurrently, compare outcomes and iterate rapidly.
Together, these functions give developers the intelligence they need to target projects with a high probability of connection and to avoid wasting time and capital on congested nodes.
