Australian fintech Smart Ease team up with Solar software platform OpenSolar for live demo series.
At Solar and Storage Live in Birmingham this year we have exhibitors from all over the globe, including Australian fintech Smart Ease, who will take centre stage and discuss their partnership with Solar software platform OpenSolar.
Smart Ease is a leading finance provider for commercial decarbonisation projects, supporting businesses in their transition to renewable energy solutions. Their services are supported by a tech-enabled platform which facilitates fast, fuss-free finance for solar and energy-efficiency projects.
The company, which has been operating for 12 months in the UK, have joined forces with leading solar software provider OpenSolar to kick off a series of live product demonstrations at Solar & Storage Live.
Smart Ease and OpenSolar expanded their global partnership to the UK in late 2022, with Smart Ease becoming the first commercial funding provider to be fully integrated into the popular digital design, sales and management platform for solar professionals.
Now UK solar installers will be able to see for themselves how easy it is to access competitive and convenient funding options for their commercial customers via Smart Ease on OpenSolar.
The benefits of using Smart Ease on OpenSolar include:
- Commercial solar customers can apply and get instant* approval for Smart Ease Payment Plans up to £100k within the OpenSolar proposal.
- Organisations pay £0 upfront on Smart Ease Payment Plans.
- Customers can review agreements and digitally sign straight from the OpenSolar proposal.

- Solar installers get paid within 48 hours of installation and settlement of the project.
The first live demonstration will take place at Solar & Storage Live at 10:30am on Wednesday, 18 October at the Smart Ease booth (R12) and will be hosted by Smart Ease CEO Guy Olian. Morning tea will be provided for attendees.
