Sungrow, a photovoltaic inverters and energy storage systems provider, introduced its new EMS3000 energy management system and iSolarBPS battery pre-diagnosis system at Intersolar Europe, in Munich.
The EMS3000 combines hardware and software with advanced technologies like cloud-edge collaboration for plant-level digitisation and intelligent energy management. It features millisecond-level rapid dispatch response, active grid support, plant system monitoring, and equipment diagnostics.
The system optimises energy use, enhances charging and discharging efficiency, and generates optimal dispatch strategies to maximise revenue in various business models, such as peak-valley arbitrage, demand control, virtual power plants, and spot trading.
Additionally, the EMS3000 supports grid stability with rapid frequency and voltage regulation, flexible inertial support, and damping control, and it enables black starts in both thermal and renewable energy scenarios.
For safety, it provides precise management of large-scale power plants, real-time feedback, equipment issue identification, intelligent fault analysis, and timely warnings, reducing the need for manual troubleshooting and cutting human and time costs by 50%.
The EMS3000 is adaptable to various power plant scenarios, including energy storage and PV-ES integration, addressing needs like capacity expansion and the addition of PV modules without requiring extra management equipment. This compatibility accelerates project delivery and reduces upgrading costs.
The iSolarBPS battery pre-diagnosis system offers real-time health diagnostics for battery cells, assessing indicators like voltage consistency, internal resistance, and internal short circuits. It generates diagnostic reports within one minute, identifies abnormal cells, and provides repair suggestions, improving O&M efficiency by 30%. The system can detect inconsistencies and risks well in advance, acting as an intelligent “CT scan” for the ESS.
Sungrow’s EMS3000, iSolarBPS, and PowerTitan2.0 liquid-cooled ESS are seamlessly integrated, creating a unified product suite with integrated data and control systems, enhancing overall efficiency and safety.
